It’s now 2021 and it’s time to set some goals! Make these goals have a purpose to better yourself each and everyday in the new year. Take time and think about what you want to achieve mentally, emotionally and physically. I’m here to help you set the RIGHT goals for yourself.
First, identify what you want for yourself in the coming days, weeks and months. Have a purpose to your planning and build a passion for what you want to achieve. Enjoy the process you are going to put yourself through and be in the moment.
Next, make it meaningful. Sure it’s easy to “I don’t want to eat junk food”. That’s nice and all, but why don’t you want to eat it? How are you going to not indulge in cheat meals and what are you going to do when you start craving? These are the questions you need to ask yourself when going through your goal setting.
Lastly, challenge yourself, but make your goals achievable. Take yourself out of your comfort zone to where you have to push yourself to get it done. It’s a goal for a reason and it’s not going to be easy because if it was, you’d already be doing it. If you’ve got in the habit of doing physical activity twice a week last year, make it three times a week this year. If you say you want to write more, do journal entries everyday to start off. If you want to relax, take up yoga or meditate. The options are endless, but in the end, make sure you’re setting achievable goals.
Make 2021 your year!
