DP World Tour Championship
The DP World Tour Championship concluded this past weekend in U.A.E. There were a ton of Troon ties going into the event and throughout the weekend. Going into the final round, Team Troon members Alex Noren and Matt Fitzpatrick and Troon investor/supporter Rory McIlroy were three out of the four players in the final two groups. Alex Noren would lead Team Troon with a T2 finish highlighted by final round 67. Noren was followed by Matt Fitzpatrick who would finish T5. Ultimately, Callaway Golf staffer in Jon Rahm would capture the DP World Tour Championship, but Rory McIlroy would finish the year as Europe’s top-ranked golfer, capturing the DP World Tour’s season-long competition, the Race to Dubai, for the fourth time. Great playing Alex, Matt and Rory!
