Team Troon On Tour: Team Troon WIN This Weekend At CJ Cup

It was another great week for Team Troon as Justin Thomas captured his 11th Career title at the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges. Thomas edged out Danny Lee finishing at -20 at the event played on JeJu Island in South Korea. The victory marks Thomas’ second in Korea at the CJ Cup. It is also the 26-year-old’s 11th career PGA Tour title, which pulls him even with Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth for most Tour wins before age 27; only Tiger Woods (34) and Jack Nicklaus (20) had more. Thomas’ 11 wins also marks the most wins of any PGA Tour player since the start of the 2016-17 season (Dustin Johnson is next with 8 and Brooks Koepka has 6). Congrats Justin! Gary Woodland also played well finishing T3.

1st – Justin Thomas, -20
T3 – Gary Woodland, -15

Alex Noren played great at the European Tour’s Open De France. Especially during the final round when Noren shot a blistering final round 66 to move into a Top 20 finish. The event was held at Le Golf National, host course of The 2018 Ryder Cup where Noren played on Europe’s Ryder Cup team during the dominating Team Europe victory. Team Europe Fans in the World of Troon, insert the appropriate: “Olé, Olé, Olé, Olé, Olé!”
