Team Troon on Tour: Thomas and Noren at Valspar Championships, Alex Noren takes the Troon Putting Challenge
The past few weeks of the PGA TOUR has created a crisscrossed travel routing throughout the Southeast region of the US…from Augusta, to Hilton Head, to New Orleans…and this week, bouncing back to Florida for the Valspar Championships. Two Team Troon members played particular well this past week in Justin Thomas and Alex Noren. They finished T13 and T21 respectively. Noren was coming off the same finish (and equally) solid showing at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans, where he and partner Henrik Norlander finished at T21 there as well. Team Noren was low Team Troon ambassador that week.. Congrats to both Justin and Alex on a solid week (and Alex, for two solid weeks). Complete Team Troon results are as follows:
Valspar Championships
- T13 – Justin Thomas 69-71-67-70: -7
- T21 – Alex Noren 70-68-67-70: -5
Zurich Classic
- T21 – Team Alex Noren & Henrik Norlander: 275

PGA Champions Tour
Colin Montgomerie and his all Troon bag was in the field for the shorted Insperity Invitational in Houston Texas (shortened to 36 holes due to weather). Colin would wrap up his two rounds with a solid T20 finish.

Coming Up This Week
The PGATOUR moves over to Wells Fargo Championships. Team Troon members in the field include Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland.
The PGA Champions Tour makes its way over to the Regions Tradition in Birmingham, Alabama where Colin Montgomerie and his all Troon Bag will look to build upon his solid T20 finish last week.
