PGA Tour – Tour Championship

This week’s Team Troon on Tour follows the FedEx Cup finale and the Tour Championship at East Lake outside of Atlanta. One that was filled with excitement and drama as Troon investor and supporter in Rory McIlroy came from behind in brilliant fashion to capture the 2022 Tour Championship and a record setting third FedEx Cup title. Congrats Rory!  Congrats is also in order for Team Troon members Justin Thomas and Matt Fitzpatrick, whom were in the final 30 of the Tour Championship. Low Team Troon member this past week was Justin Thomas who played solid all week to finish T5 at -17 (just four back of Rory). Matt Fitzpatrick would start off hot with a first round 64 to post a four round total of T15 at -11. Congrats to Rory, Justin and Matt on a great season finale and great year as well!

  • T5 Justin Thomas: 67-68-63-68 = 266 / -17
  • T15 Matt Fitzpatrick: 64-71-67-70= 272 / -11

LPGA Tour

The LPGA Tour was in Canada for the CP Women’s Open at Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club. Team Troon member  Yealimi Noh was “in the hunt” herself after opening the event with two rounds in the 60’s. Yealimi would follow that with a 68-70 finish and would have a great week shooting a four round -10 to earn a top 20 finish. Congrats Yealimi on a solid week and solid finish!

  • T17 Yealimi Noh: 67-69-68-70 = 274/ -10
