Pooler, Georgia (January 10, 2020) – The Club at Savannah Quarters’ Director of Golf Jonathan Mattox was recently named “Merchandiser of the Year” in the Private Club category by the Georgia Section of the PGA of America. Award winners will be recognized in February at a banquet at Sun Trust Park in Atlanta.

In 1978, The PGA of America and Sports Illustrated established the Merchandiser of the Year Award to recognize those PGA professionals who have excelled as businessmen/merchandisers in the promotion of golf. The Georgia PGA honors professionals in three categories: Public, Private, and Resort.

“I’m honored to be recognized by the Georgia PGA, but it’s a total team effort at The Club Savannah Quarters,” said Mattox. “I’m blessed to work with an incredible team here.”

Mattox has been the director of golf at The Club at Savannah Quarters since 2017.
