The Falls Club of the Palm Beaches completes $3 million dollar capital improvement project

Grand Gala Reopening Celebration Saturday, January 16th, 2016

Lake Worth, Fl. Jan 15, 2016–With new memberships growing, spectacular enhancements to its Gentleman Joe Lee signature championship golf course and an inspired club house redesign, The Falls Club is renewing its mission to set a new standard of excellence for non-residential, private golf clubs.

A Grand Reopening Gala set for Saturday, January 16th, 2016 will also celebrate the re-launch of The Falls Club.

The reopening follows completion of a two-phase capital improvement project that fulfilled some $3 million dollars in high value improvements and restorations to the club’s award-winning 18-hole championship golf course, as well as its 40,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Work crews have modified fairway bunkers, restored dimensions of the course’s lake systems, laser-leveled tees, and improved fairway conditions while carefully maintaining the integrity of Gentleman Joe Lee’s original course design. Six new forward ladies’ tees have been added to the course, offering a more manageable option for all.

The inspired architectural redesign of The Falls clubhouse by GarciaStromberg, the architects of One Thousand Ocean, the luxury condominium waterfront project on the Boca Raton Inlet, has delivered on the concept to seamlessly merge arrival in the club’s grand lobby with sweeping views of the Gentleman Joe Lee signature championship golf course.

The expansive design theme continues through to a relaxed and casual 19th-hole and full-service ‘Grille Room’ restaurant, a bar & lounge along with enchanting views of the signature hole and unique rock waterfall for which the club is named. The men’s and ladies’ locker rooms and card rooms have also been completely reappointed.

“As a non-residential, private golf club, situated as we are on more than 170 acres of prime tropical beauty, The Falls Club exclusive lifestyle club membership opportunity is unmatched for those who choose to live outside of a mandatory membership community. If you’re looking for an opportunity to play golf the way it was intended; without tee times, with or without a caddie, and with the ability to walk or take a cart, you’ve found the ideal club,” The Falls Club General Manager Richard Stropp said.

“In addition to offering our members the complete Palm Beach lifestyle with an outstanding non-residential private club experience for avid golfers and their families, we’re returning even more value and rewarding member loyalty by waiving membership initiation fees,” Stropp said.

The Falls Club’s premier golf experience, high-end services and amenities are further enhanced by a fully appointed golf shop, a complete caddie program, complimentary snack pavilion, multiple tennis courts, health club with certified personal trainers and tennis professionals, separate men’s and ladies’ card rooms, expansive locker rooms, a relaxed and casual 19th-hole and full-service ‘Grille Room’ restaurant, along with a bar & lounge overlooking the unique signature rock waterfall that cascades beyond the golf course’s 16th hole.
