The Frog At The Georgian Celebrates 20 Years
The Frog Golf Club at The Georgian has reached an exciting milestone as it celebrates the 20th anniversary this November. In honor of this momentous occasion, The Frog is hosting a weekend-long celebration November 16-18.
Open since 1998, The Frog Golf Club at The Georgian features an 18-hole championship golf course that has been recognized as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and rated as one of the top golf courses in Georgia by Golf Digest. Designed by legendary golf course architect Tom Fazio, this award-winning golf course stretches more than 7,000 yards through the indigenous hardwoods, towering southern pines, and rolling hills of the Georgia terrain. Private homes are quietly tucked away from the golf course, giving a pure golf experience. In addition to golf, The Frog provides a well-appointed clubhouse fully-stocked golf shop and a full-service bar and restaurant. The club is managed by Honours Golf, a division of Troon headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.
The 20th Anniversary weekend will kick-off with a charity golf tournament at The Frog at 12 PM on Friday, November 16th. This 4-person scramble is $50 per person or $200 per 4-person team. The price includes 18-holes of golf with cart, food and beverages and the chance to win numerous prizes. A portion of the proceeds will go to Paulding County Cops for Kids program.
On Saturday, November 17th, The Frog will host a complimentary Family Fun Day for public guests and residents from 9 AM to 3 PM. Complimentary golf clinics, SNAG Golf for kids, and the opportunity to test out new golf equipment from leading golf club manufacturers are just a few of the activities planned. The Frog will also have a bounce house, BBQ buffet, music, and more. In addition, golfers may play 18-holes of golf at The Frog any time after 11AM for only $20 plus tax. Later that evening, a celebratory cocktail reception, which will include wine and bourbon tastings, hors d’oeuvres and live music, will be held at the clubhouse for $19.98 plus tax per person.
The anniversary weekend activities will conclude with a special Anniversary Brunch on Sunday, November 18th from 10 AM to 2 PM. The brunch will include many breakfast favorites and Thanksgiving menu items. Cost is $19.98+ for adults and $9.95+ for kids.

“Designing The Frog Golf Course back in the late 1990’s was a great experience for Fazio Design,” said golf course architect Tom Fazio. “This Paulding County site, at that time was very rural with very little development in the area. We had a large amount of land to work with, select options for the clubhouse location and individual golf holes. We walked this property many times and staked-out the golf holes to maximize the potential for each setting. The beautiful, rolling Georgia terrain allowed for many options to adjust the routing plan to ensure each hole would fit naturally into the landscape. The result for the course opening in 1998, was a well built, traditional-style golf course which feels very private. Each hole is unique. We are very proud of the work we completed to get the Frog Golf Course off to a great start. Twenty years later, this course is celebrating the unique past and a great future for quality golf in the Atlanta metro Area.
