Troon International on Tour: Royal Greens and Al Hamra events kick off in style

Greetings from King Abdullah Economic City just outside of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia for the first Asian Tour event, The PIF Saudi International at the Troon managed Royal Greens Golf & Country Club. Hats off to our team who delivered a wonderful Pro-Am, continue to serve outstanding culinary for the players lounge, a field which includes 21 of the world’s top-50 – Team Troon’s Bubba, DJ, Phil etc. and have the golf course in superb condition. Well done to Mostapha Mneimneh (GM), Sam Markram (Golf Manager), and David Blair (Super).

Also, Troon managed Al Hamra Golf Club in Dubai, is hosting their first DP World Tour event (previously European Tour) the Ras Al Khaimah Championship Presented by Phoenix Capital– the first of two back to back DP World Tour events held there! This is a wonderful story of a facility we got engaged with 6 years ago and has come so far to now being trusted with 2 Tour events. Team Troon is again well represented with Colin Montgomerie. Well done Paul Booth (GM), Dindy Macatlang (Super) and Andrew Matthews (F&B) and we wish them the best of luck for the coming 10 days!

Both Royal Greens and Al Hamra events can be viewed on Golf Channel at 6AM and 8AM (ET time) respectively this Saturday and Sunday.

Finally I would like to round off by giving another shout out to the team at Yas Links Abu Dhabi and especially Corey Finn and our Agronomy team. For those that tuned in and followed the recent Rolex Series DP World Tour event at our top-50 ranked course, the players, media and tour were so complimentary of the course conditioning.
