Troon®, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, is showcasing its industry-leading collection of facilities at the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM), held in Lake Como, Milan, Italy, from 27th to 30th October 2014.
A firm fixture in the company’s business calendar, Troon, and 14 of its world-class venues, will once again exhibit at the world’s premier golf travel event to the large contingent of international tour operators and buyers who have assembled for the annual gathering.
The three day exhibition represents a unique networking opportunity for the market-leaders, allowing company delegates the opportunity to showcase its extensive array of high quality services and reaffirm the way in which its consistent delivery of playing surfaces and customer interaction provide reassurance to both the Tour Operators and their customers universally.
Not only is the event providing Troon with the ideal platform to showcase its management services, but it is also a chance for individual venues to present the unique features of their facilities. Demonstrating the breadth of golf on offer within the portfolio, prestigious venues from eight countries including the United Arab Emirates, UK, Spain, Morocco and Egypt are being represented.

Troon continues to enjoy a unique insight into the global footprint of golf, with the international division benefiting from ongoing growth to manage operations at 41 properties in 16 countries. With exciting new developments in some of the most sought-after destinations to the Troon network this year, including Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai; and The Tony Jacklin Casablanca, Morocco, the 2014 show will mark the first time these properties are represented from Troon’s Stand at C523.
The hosting at Lake Como is the first time the French Property, Chateau d’Augerville, will exhibit its stunning golf offering from stand C525. Morocco, as ever, has a strong presence at the show with PalmGolf Marrakech–Palmeraie, exhibiting the Robert Trent Jones design in the region. The venue forms part of the Palmeraie Resorts stand at R121, which also includes sister Troon venues currently in development – PalmGolf Marrakech – Ourika and PalmGolf Casablanca, due to open in 2015.
The Middle East boasts a strong presence at IGTM with Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Club – which celebrates staging the 10th anniversary of the European Tour’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships in 2015, in attendance at stand R310. The Els Club, Dubai (Stand C523) and The Address Montgomerie, Dubai (R207) have also traveled to the event to exhibit.
Also flying the Troon flag is 2013 IGTM Host, Lumine Golf Club at Mediterranea Beach & Golf Community (Stand L100 & L102) as well as fellow Spanish European Tour Qualifying School Stage 2 venue, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club at stand L608. Prince’s Golf Club continues its allegiance to its local tourist board and exhibits from stand L502. The Grove, London, UK (L508), Costa Navarino, Messinia, Greece (C521), The Allegria Golf Club, Egypt (C523), Lofoten Golf Links, Norway (C523) and La Reserva de Sotogrande Golf Club, Spain (C523) complete the international reach of Troon at the show.
