Westchester Hills Golf Club Enhances Member Experience
Westchester Hills Golf Club recently added a Golf Performance Studio and Fitness Facility to its member amenities. The century old club, a fixture in the Westchester Golf scene, now has a state of the art Performance Studio.
The golf professionals at Westchester Hills are excited about the new Performance Studio and all the benefits it provides. From custom club fitting and video lessons to member team matches in the simulator during winter months, the Performance Studio has all the latest video technology to provide pro and member with important feedback on swing plane, club path, distance, target deviation and more. The combination of video with professional guidance makes for the most beneficial learning experience. The Westchester Hills professional staff agrees that the addition of the Performance Studio is the key to members playing better and enjoying the game more!
Along with the new Golf Performance Studio, members can also enjoy a workout in the newly opened Fitness Facility. Equipment includes state of the art cardio machines, rowing machine, and strength training equipment along with a complete set of free weights and benches plus plenty of room to warm up and stretch prior to a round of golf. Yoga and Zumba classes are scheduled throughout each week and TPI Certified instructors are available to provide Fitness Assessments and Training.
The addition of the Golf Performance Studio and Fitness Facility is a continuation of the numerous upgrades to Westchester Hills over the last few years.
On the Golf Course, all the bunkers were renovated, trees were added and others removed, the irrigation system updated and the Half-way House modernized.
During that same period, the Clubhouse and Dining room, Patio & Bar underwent major renovations. The locker rooms were updated, a cigar room and sauna added. Throughout all this Westchester Hills retained the classic club ambiance so well known in Westchester. The family friendly pool area was renovated and enlarged and pool lockers and pool snack bars updated. These renovations and additions have resulted in many new and younger families joining the Club and adding to the fabric of the well-established core of members who have been part of the Club for years.
