10 Years of the Prestige Masters at Prestige Golfshire Club in India
Beginning in May, the Prestige Golfshire Club in Bangalore India will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Prestige Masters Series.
The brain child of Mr Faiz Rezwan CMD of the Prestige Group, the Master Series began with the goal of shining the spotlight on the Prestige Golfshire Club as India’s leading golf club and residential project.
In a short period of time, the Prestige Golfshire Club has achieved this and much more, being voted as the best golf course in India for four consecutive years by two golf industry bodies; the World Golf Awards and Golf Industry Association.
Declan McCollam, the club General Manager stated that the Prestige Masters Series is one of the biggest contested amateur golf events in India with a total of 820 competitors taking part in the event each year.
He stated that the event not only attracted golfers from all over India, but also Korea, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden and the UK. “Each year we have a very good mix of players and cultures and the competitive juices are flowing whilst fun and camaraderie play a big part in the event.”
In 2024 the series final winner will receive an all expenses paid trip to the 2025 US Masters Tournament sponsored by Golftripz and Prestige Golfshire Club.
