A Big Weekend Coming Up For The 2009 Troon Challenge

After a successful event at Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale Ariz., the 2009 Troon Challenge is on the move with stops planned over three consecutive days in Florida, Arizona and Nevada.



The weekend “trifecta” kicks off this Friday, June 19 at Legacy Golf Club, marking its final stop in Florida for 2009. The Cattail course at Whirlwind Golf Club will host the tournament when it heads back west to Arizona on Saturday, June 20. The Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas completes the tournament trio, which will be staged on the Lexington course on Sunday, June 21.





All three golf courses are still accepting entries for competition this weekend. Entry forms and information on fees and remaining qualifying dates are available at www.troonchallenge.com.

The Troon Challenge is a series of amateur golf tournaments held May through August at 14 Troon Golf courses in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada and Texas. Teams of two players compete in local qualifier events for a chance to earn a spot at the Troon Challenge National Finals. The entry fee at local qualifying events includes your green fee, cart, practice balls, one dozen Callaway golf balls, event prizes and a post-tournament awards reception.



Troon North Golf Club located in Scottsdale, Ariz. will host the 28 teams that advance to the National Finals August 29-30, 2009. Each participant in this two-day tournament will receive a Callaway Golf gift pack and be eligible for prizes including award winning Callaway Golf products and more.
