Troon Golf experienced another year of growth in ’08, expanding its portfolio across 32 states and 27 countries.
From Arizona to Australia to Dubai, here’s a quick review looking back at the newcomers of 2008.
THE ELS CLUB
The Els Club at Dubai Sports City is the world’s first integrated sports city located in the United Arab Emirates and is PGA Tour player Ernie Els’ first step from golf into hospitality.
LITTLE RIVER GOLF & RESORT
Little River Golf & Resort is located in the Sandhills golf region of North Carolina. Just five miles north of Pinehurst in Carthage, Little River is one of the area’s premier golf resorts.
DISMAL RIVER CLUB
Dismal River Club in Mullen, Neb. features an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course that rolls through the natural terrain of the Sandhills, located in the north-central region of the state.
FOREST OAKS COUNTRY CLUB
Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. features traditional style, strategic challenges, and immaculate playing conditions, making it one of North Carolina’s top private golf courses.
THE GOLF CLUB AT CHAMPIONS CIRCLE
The Golf Club at Champions Circle showcases a championship-level golf course, nestled among the rolling hills of a former cattle ranch. The course measures 7,005 yards and is lined with 100-year-old oak trees, as well as winding creeks and white limestone outcroppings.
CONCORD COUNTRY CLUB

Allegria is the first Greg Norman signature golf course in Egypt. The course is situated within close proximity to the center of Cairo with incredible views of the ancient pyramids and is scheduled to open in 2009.

SAADIYAT BEACH GOLF COURSE
