Georgetown, Texas (November 8, 2021) – Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club in Georgetown, Texas recently welcomed Terry Negen as the club’s new golf course superintendent. In his new position, Negen will oversee maintenance of the club’s 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course, its expansive golf practice facilities and the club’s agronomy team.
Negen has been a golf course superintendent for 20-plus years, serving at clubs in Minnesota, Iowa and Arizona. He most recently served as the golf course superintendent for the Geronimo Course at Desert Mountain in Carefree, Ariz.
He has served on the board of directors of the local chapters of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in Minnesota and Iowa and has mentored dozens of current superintendents across the country.

Originally from Montevideo, Minn. Negen enjoys playing golf and finding the “next great dive restaurant with great food” in his spare time.
