Scottsdale, Arizona – Troon Golf, the recognized world leader in luxury brand golf management, development, and marketing is pleased to announce its recent contract to oversee golf operations for Estrella Mountain Ranch Golf Club. Designed by Jack Nicklaus II, the golf course is the key amenity of the 20,000-acre Estrella Mountain Ranch, a master planned community, stretching through the desert foothills south of Goodyear, Arizona.

“We are excited to offer the TROON GOLF EXPERIENCE to golfers and residents of Estrella Mountain Ranch,” stated Troon Golf Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dana Garmany. “Estrella Mountain Ranch Golf Club is an excellent property and a perfect addition to complement our existing facilities in Arizona.”

Open since 1999, Estrella Mountain Ranch Golf Club has earned high honors from GOLF Magazine as one of the country’s “Best Golf Courses You Can Play,” was selected as one of “America’s Best Daily Fee Golf Courses” by Golf and Travel Magazine, and most recently, Arizona Business Magazine named the facility the “Third Best Public Course in Phoenix.”

“We are honored by our new association with Troon Golf. Under their accomplished management practices, we can elevate the quality of our golf course customer services to an even higher level,” said John Christensen, Vice President and General Manager of Estrella Mountain Ranch. “We have watched Troon Golf evolve into a major power in the golf industry, and we feel our link with this dynamic company is a good match.”

Opting for open fairways and long graceful contours in the desert setting, Jack Nicklaus II showed remarkable individuality in his solo design debut in Arizona. His work at Estrella Mountain Ranch reflects a special sensitivity toward the average player. Though a few Nicklaus Design trademarks crop up, such as divided fairways that force golfers to choose their most playable option from the tee, Jack II has created a refreshing variation on the legendary family name.

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Troon Golf represents over 110 management and development contracts in 21 states and 10 countries. Troon Golf properties include venues such as The Westin Turnberry Resort, Ayrshire, Scotland; Glades Golf Club, Queensland, Australia; Monarch Beach Golf Links, Dana Point, California; Legend Trail Golf Club, Scottsdale, Arizona; The Sagamore Club, Indianapolis, Indiana; The Ridge at Castle Pines North, Castle Rock, Colorado; and Cabo del Sol, Los Cabos, Mexico.
