THE INAUGURAL EGYPT TROON CUP IS A HUGE SUCCESS
Cairo, Egypt (October 4, 2021) – The inaugural Egypt Troon Cup kicked off in Egypt with a match between The Allegria and Madinaty Golf Club, two flagship properties managed and operated by Troon under the Troon Golf brand. The match marked the first of many planned events between the two clubs designed to create friendly competition between the two Troon-managed properties.
The match was played in a match-play setup with 20 members representing each club in a Ryder Cup format and fell on the opening day of the Ryder Cup weekend. Played on the Greg Norman Signature Golf Course, it was The Allegria who came out as champions on their home course with a 1.5-point advantage over Madinaty Golf Club.

It is great to see two Troon-managed golf clubs come together and put on unique events like this for our memberships. The rematch is already scheduled for March 2022 at Madinaty Golf Club, who will be looking for the win on their home course.
