TROON GOLF ANNOUNCES NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF THREE CARL M. FREEMAN RESORT PROPERTIES

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Scrivner to the general manager position for the Carl M. Freeman Sports & Hospitality operations at Bayside Resort Golf Club and Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club in Delaware and The Bay Club in Maryland.
Laura has been with Troon Golf for more than 14 years. She served as director of golf operations at Tamarron Resort in Durango Col., general manager for Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz., and most recently as general manager of The Peninsula Golf and Country Club in Millsboro, Del.
“Laura brings over 20 years of experience in both the golf and hospitality industries to our resort clubs,” remarked Doug Brown, vice president of community development for Carl M. Freeman Companies. “Her leadership skills have resulted in the receipt of several notable awards in the areas of service excellence and membership satisfaction for her clubs. And we believe Laura’s expertise in all aspects of operations management will be a wonderful asset for Carl M. Freeman’s resort clubs and members.”
Laura’s office will be located on Delmarva at one of the Freeman clubs. She will report to Troon Golf’s vice president of operations Matt Hurley located in Tampa, Fla., and to Doug Brown, vice president of community development and asset manager for Carl M. Freeman Companies.
