TROON GOLF APPOINTED TO MANAGE ALLEGRIA
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce it has been selected by SODIC, Egypt’s leading real estate developer, to manage Allegria, the first Greg Norman signature golf course in Egypt.
The Allegria development comprises modern residential and commercial facilities set within acres of pristine parkland, designed with young families and children in mind. The Norman-designed golf course is situated within close proximity to the center of Cairo, Egypt with incredible views of the ancient pyramids and is scheduled to open in 2009. The course represents Norman’s and Troon Golf’s first project in Egypt, as well as Allegria’s most prized amenity. It provides stunning backdrops for the development’s luxurious villas and townhouses and features state-of-the-art facilities including a clubhouse, golf academy and driving range.
The official signing ceremony between Troon Golf and SODIC took place in Cairo early today, coinciding with Norman’s visit to review construction of the first 9 holes.
