TROON NORTH GOLF CLUB EARNS TOP RANKING FROM LEADING GOLF PUBLICATION

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Golf Magazine’s raters have spoken by naming the Pinnacle course at Troon North Golf Club No. 21 in the nation and the best in Arizona. Featured in the September issue, Golf Magazine’s “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” for 2008-2009 lists the best public-access courses from across the country.

The magazine’s course-ranking panel, editorial staff and well-traveled golf enthusiasts determined the rankings by submitting ballots containing feedback on their top resort, municipal, daily-fee, and semi-private courses in America. The biennial list also positioned the Monument at No. 45, giving Troon North two coveted spots on the list’s top 50. Both the Pinnacle and the Monument have appeared on the prestigious ranking for ten consecutive years.

In March 2008, Golf Magazine also named the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North as one of the “Best Golf Resorts” in North America for 2008.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., Troon Golf is the world’s largest golf management company, overseeing operations at more than 200 courses located in 31 states and 31 countries. Additionally, 36 Troon Golf facilities enjoy a Top 100 ranking by national or international publications.
