Red Ledges Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Groundbreaking for New Village Center

Red Ledges, a four-season recreational community in Heber City, celebrated the community’s 10th anniversary over the weekend with a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Village Center, a two-building community center that will significantly expand the lifestyle, fitness and recreation offering for Red Ledges residents and members.

“As the original owners and managers of Red Ledges, we are extremely proud to have kept our promise of creating an unmatched lifestyle community,” said Mitchel Burns, Red Ledges COO. “We hope this groundbreaking shows our continued commitment of sticking to our development goals and building plans.”

Red Ledges opened as Utah’s newest recreational community on October 13, 2007. The brainchild of M. Anthony (Tony) Burns, former CEO of Ryder Systems, Inc. and partner, Nolan Archibald, former CEO of Stanley Black & Decker, together the teamed the biggest names in golf and tennis, namely Jack Nicklaus, Cliff Drysdale and Jim McLean to create the 2,000-acre Red Ledges community.

As part of the 10th anniversary, Red Ledges celebrated with a groundbreaking of the newest amenity, the Red Ledges Village Center. Drawing from marketing and development partner South Street/Kiawah Partners amenity insight, the Village Center’s first phase will include an outdoor pool, outdoor bar/grill and locker room.
