RIO VERDE COUNTRY CLUB’S INNOVATIVE MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE PROGRAM ATTRACTING NEW MEMBERS

As Rio Verde Country Club’s new Membership Certificate Program enters its third month, the promotion continues to be an unequivocal success for new members and the club.  To date, nearly two dozen new members have taken advantage of the program, which offers discounts on initiation fees based on when the membership certificate is redeemed.

The Membership Certificate Program began in July as current Rio Verde Country Club members were each given a certificate to issue to a potential new member of their choice. If a recipient joined before July 31, 2019, they received a full $12,500 off their initiation fee, paying zero to join the club. In August, the offer moved to $10,000 off their initiation fee, which meant paying $2,500 to join the club. The promotion continues through September ($7,500 off) and October ($6,000 off). As part of the program, new members must agree to a two-year dues commitment and begin paying club dues the month after joining.

“The clubhouse renovation turned out beautifully and has members and the surrounding community buzzing about the club,” said David Benham, Rio Verde Country Club’s new membership director. “Since we introduced the Membership Certificate Program in July, we’ve had a ton of interest from prospective members in Fountain Hills and the surrounding area. With two months to go in the promotion, there’s still time for others to take advantage of this opportunity.”

Located between the eastern foothills of the McDowell Mountains and the Tonto National Forest, Rio Verde Country Club recently completed a multi-million dollar clubhouse renovation project. The club’s restaurant, kitchen and pro shop we’re all reimagined and upgraded. The 47-year old club now proudly offers its members and guests the Box Bar Grille at Rio Verde – named after the Box Bar Ranch which Rio Verde sits on today. In addition, Russ Lowther, formerly of Des Moines Country Club, was recently hired to lead the food and beverage operations at Rio Verde Country Club.

Since mid-2016 when Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon, was hired to manage Rio Verde Country Club, more than 150 new members have joined the club.
