Team Troon on Tour: Fitzpatrick and Thomas with strong finishes at The Open Championship
Matt Fitzpatrick and Justin Thomas continued their second week of stellar play in the U.K. leading Team Troon with strong finishes in The Open Championship. Matt would lead Team Troon with a -3 and T26 finish. Justin will follow with a T40 finish. Congrats to both for your strong finish and congrats to Colin Morikawa for his 2nd major.

LPGA TOUR
Cheyenne Woods teamed up with Mariah Stackhouse in the LPGA TOUR Team event: the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational at Midland CC. They would both play well, shooting -3 after two rounds… but it would be just one shot shy of making it to weekend play.

The next PGA TOUR event on the schedule is the 3M Open in the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”- ie Minnesota. Gary Woodland is the lone Team Troon member in the field this week. Go Gary!
PGA CHAMPIONS Tour
Major season continues this week with the Senior Open Championship at Sunningdale Golf Course (Old Course) in Berkshire, England. It’s the third major in the last five weeks after the Bridgestone SENIOR PLAYERS and the U.S. Senior Open and Colin Montgomerie and his ALL TROON bag will be in the field. Go Colin!

He received a ton of social buzz even before The Open Championship started.
