PGA TOUR – The CJ Cup Byron Nelson
The CJ Cup Byron Nelson is a notable stop on tour, with this year’s edition being played at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Alex Noren was in the field and represented Team Troon well. He started off carding an opening round 64 and had a fantastic week, finishing at 21 under. This low score gave him a solo third finish and great momentum… getting him into this week’s signature event at the Wells Fargo Championship. Great playing Alex!

Champions Tour – Insperity Invitational
The Champions Tour was in full swing as the 9^th event of the season taking place at The Woodlands Country Club for the Insperity Invitational. Colin Montgomerie was back in the field competing and finished at +3 for the inclement weather shorted event. Great to have you back playing Colin!

• 60 Colin Montgomerie: 72-75 = 147 / +3

LPGA/Epson Tour – Casino Del Sol Golf Classic

The Epson Tour began their Arizona swing for the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic in Tucson, Arizona. Benedetta Moresco was in the field carded a solid 4 under par for the week. She also had a great final round push as she opened her third and final round with three birdies in a row to shoot -2, 70 for the day.

COMING UP

PGA TOUR-Wells Fargo Championship

The PGA Tour is landing in Charlotte, North Carolina with many Team Troon members in the field. The field includes: Matt Fitzpatrick, Matt Kuchar, Alex Noren, Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland. The event is at Quail Hollowand Team Troon has a track record of success there. Back in 2022, Matt Fitzpatrick finished T2, -6, only two shots out of first. In 2021, it was Troon Investor/Supporter Rory McIlroy who won the event outright at -10. Not to mention Quail Hollow was the site of Justin Thomas’ first major victory in the 2017 PGA Championship.

Speaking of Justin Thomas, we have a great event occurring tonight at the Charles L Sifford Golf Course and the First Tee of Charlotte. 100 First Tee junior golfers will be participating in an event coordinated by Troon with both Justin Thomas and his father Mike Thomas. A great way to kick off our involvement managing the Mecklenburg County Golf Courses in the greater Charlotte region. Stay tuned on Troon social handles for coverage and photos!

PGA Tour Champions Tour- Regions Tradition

The PGA TOUR Champions return to Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, AL for the first major in the Regions Tradition. Colin Montgomerie and his all Troon bag will be in the field. For those that don’t know, the Regions Tradition is one of the many iconic events operated by our associates/colleagues with Eventive Sports! We know our team of relentlessly dedicated associates will do an exceptional job this week operating an iconic event on the PGA Tour Champions.

LPGA/Epson Tour – Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic

The Epson Tour is traveling the Phoenix Metro Area for the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Classic that will be played at the TPC Scottsdale Champions Course. Team Troon member Benedetta Moresco will be in the field, competing for a record setting Epson Tour purse. Go low this week Benedetta! Also a special shout out is deserved for Terravita Members who are Benny’s host family this week in Scottsdale. Thank you for hosting Benny and her sister Angelica this week!

PGA TOUR – Zurich Classic

The Zurich Classic is a fun stop on tour as it is a unique team format in New Orleans. Congratulations is in order to Troon Investor/Supporter Rory McIlroy and his partner Shane Lowry who won the event outright at 25 under. Their win came after a playoff hole against Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer. Team Fitzpatrick also had a strong showing in the event as the two Team Troon and brothers Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick paired up again, and played well, finishing T11 at 20 under.

• 1 Rory McIlroy/Shane Lowry: 61-70-64 = 263 / -25
• T11 Matt Fitzpatrick/Alex Fitzpatrick: 66-68-65 = 268 / -20
