Team Troon on Tour: T13 Finish at Memorial for Noren, Woods at Women’s US Open and Montgomerie at Principal
Team Troon had two of our team members in contention going into the weekend at The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village in Ohio…Justin Thomas and Alex Noren. Low Team Troon member was one Alex Noren who had a solid T13 finish when he posted a 72 hole total of 3 under. Justin Thomas would finish T42 for the event.

LPGA Tour
Cheyenne Woods and her all Troon bag was in the field at Olympic Club for a Major…the Women’s US Open. While she didn’t make it to weekend play her story of her qualifying into it is still a great one (see last weeks Team Troon on Tour)
PGA Champions Tour
Colin Montgomerie and his all Troon bag was in Iowa for the Principal Charity Classic. He would finish at Even in T50 place.

PGA TOUR
Team Troon members Matt Fitzpatrick and Alex Noren will be participating in The Palmetto Championship at Congaree. If the Palmetto Championship sounds un familiar to you…it is because the event is a one-time replacement for the RBC Canadian Open (the PGA TOUR pivoted from staging the event in Canada the past two years due to Covid travel restrictions/concerns). Interesting factoid: it is the third PGA Tour event to be contested in South Carolina this year (the other two being the RBC Heritage and the PGA Championship).
LPGA
The LPGA stays in California for the LPGA Mediheal Championship. Cheyenne Woods is scheduled to participate in and/or qualify into the second event in consecutive weeks in California.
PGA CHAMPIONS
Colin Montgomerie will be in the field at the American Family Insurance Championship in Madison, Wisconsin
