Troon International Raises Over $10,000 for Women’s Charities During October

The Els Club Dubai

Troon International and Troon managed facilities around the world have raised over $10,000 during the month of October through fundraising initiatives and awareness driving events in honour of Troon Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Celebrated each year in October, our facilities worldwide are encouraged to activate awareness driving initiatives and fundraising events for this important cause. Troon-managed golf courses fly pink checkered flags on their 18th greens, a visual representation that helps raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and screening exams. And many facilities around the world host events and activities dedicated to women; from Par 3 Tournaments, Night Golf and Complimentary Clinics to discounts on pink merchandise in their golf shops.

This year, the Troon International office located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates partnered with a local charity, Brest Friends and the Al Jalila Foundation to donate AED 100 of every Troon Executive Card sold during the month of October. Tremendous efforts from the corporate team and the associates at Troon facilities in the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia resulted in over AED 13,000 being donated at the close of October to this great cause.
